BEWARE OF SCAM CALLS

There has been a lot of recent GP scam calls activity & several practices in Scotland have posted about this on social media. It’s a nationwide scam involving generic phone calls claiming to be from their practice and requesting them to update personal information. They are being threatened with removal from their practice list if they fail.

Some patients are reporting scam calls stating they are from the GP Practice. Scammers are asking personal information and may threaten to remove you From the Practice List if you do not comply. Your GP Practice would NEVER act like this. 

Please be careful if you receive a call like this.
